Following months of preparation, S&K Powder Coating of Cadiz officially opened its doors on Friday, February 27 at a grand opening held at the new facility at 102 Clay St. The gathering brought close to 100 members of the Cadiz community, including business leaders, Chamber of Commerce members and more.
“The support from the Cadiz community, especially given the recent weather, was unbelievable,” S&K’s Kyle Allen said. “We were blown away by the turnout and cannot begin to thank the people of Cadiz enough for the support during this process. These are exciting times for our company and we look forward to being an integral part of the Cadiz community for many years to come.”
Leaders of the Cadiz community, including Mayor Todd King, spoke at the event, officially welcoming S&K to the Cadiz community by granting the company a “Key to the City.”
The grand opening officially kicked off the beginning of business for S&K in Cadiz, as the company will look to serve all surrounding areas in Western Kentucky. Cadiz native John David Fourqurean will run all operations at the Cadiz facility. Business hours will run daily from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
